
The cellar was the part of the former church area. It's buttress made in 1842,but the cellar is older, it is probably prepared in the beginning of the 1700's. The makers hollowed into rhyolite tuff on the side of Kutyahegy, which full capacities is 3000 hl, what is exclusively made up of fuders. It's climate is ideal for the maturation of the wines, it's average temperature is 11 degrees. The changes of the temperature is smaller than 1 degree in the whole year. It's relative humidity is constant. This is a classical red wine cellar, where we mature our outstanding quality wine in wood barrels year after year.
