Our storage – space dispresses on more depots. We make the processing of the grape and he ready treatment of the wines in our central depot. We treat in a barrel stand cellar those wines of ours that need to maturation in wood barrel.
Our cellars are the Inside and the Outside in Ostoros and the Csiky in Eger. More than 10000 hl of wine we can ripen in barrel stand simultanevusly at the same time.
Cellar of Kutyahegy
The cellar was the part of the former church area. It's buttress made in 1842,but the cellar is older, it is probably prepared in the beginning of the 1700's. The makers hollowed into rhyolite tuff on the side of Kutyahegy, which full capacities is 3000 hl, what is exclusively made up of fuders. It's climate is ideal for the maturation of the wines, it's average temperature is 11 degrees. The changes of the temperature is smaller than 1 degree in the whole year. It's relative humidity is constant. This is a classical red wine cellar, where we mature our outstanding quality wine in wood barrels year after year.
Turkish cellar
Our predecessors hollowed this cellar into a vulcanian tuff. The Turkish, who bombarded the Casle of Eger in 1552 used it for storage their munitions. It was used for wine storage and wine maturation before and after the bombarding. The cellar hollowing was arduous manual work and it claimed big expertise. Many house built from the hollowed substance in the village. The cellar's full length is 328 meters, the middle introductor branch is 90 meters. The average temperature is between 10-12 degrees in the summer and winter too. The relative humidity is above 90%. The tuff layer's thickness is 20 meters at the end of the middle introductory branch above the cellar.
Csiky cellar of Eger
This cellar of ours can be found in the downtown's edge og Eger undet the former city wall. There is a protected ancient monument of Eger above the cellar. The hollowed cellar has 7 branches, it's full capacity is 5000 hl. It has an ideal climate for the maturation of the red wines, it's temperature is between 10-12 degrees, the relative humidity is above 90%.
Ostoros, the Centre
We store our wines in modern disease steel containers in the biggest depot of ours, which is equal for the current claims. The processing happens here by a modern winery technology. The maturation of our reductive also happens here. Other cellar's ripened wines are going to be ready in this place and the local task is preparing the wines for bottling too.
